Fall Just Keeps Going

03 Nov

While we are now into the month of November, there is still beauty in the trees and land.  The crab apples are dried out and wilted, but still bright little pops of color.

The trees, while not brilliant and outstanding anymore, still deserve to be noticed.

And there is nothing like an autumn sunset!

The bees and wasps, however, seem to be cold, timid, and seeking warmth and shelter.  This little one was so shy about my camera.  It kept trying to hide against the post.

Quite unlike their bold summer moods.

And the steers are indifferent.  As long as they get enough food, they are happy.

And my favorite tree is beautiful no matter the season.  I’ve always loved this tree.  It deserves a post of its own.

Thank you Katie. Oh yes, this tree has been my favorite for years. It has this huge root that is above ground and curves to create the perfect little bench. I spent hours there as a kid, and visit it even today. I should post some of my favorite photos of it so you can see it better.
